Job summary

Vestas is seeking an AI/ML Engineer to design, develop and deploy AI/ML solutions across the AI/ML Chapter within the Digital Development Platform. You will join a global team across Denmark and India, aligning with product owners, ML engineers, and business stakeholders to deliver scalable AI/GenAI capabilities in production environments.

The role emphasizes production-grade systems, responsible AI, and collaboration across cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Master's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
5+ years of experience in ML engineering, including design, delivery and scaling of production-grade AI/ML solutions.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with product owners, ML engineers, app developers and business SMEs to build and scale advanced ML/GenAI and agent-based systems embedded in digital products.
Contribute to validating and conducting technical feasibility assessments of high-impact ML/GenAI use cases.
Define, productize and scale ML/GenAI and agentic systems with reasoning, planning and complex task execution.
Integrate AI/ML capabilities into enterprise applications with human-in-the-loop and self-directed decision making.
Advise stakeholders on responsible AI adoption balancing experimentation with production considerations such as performance, cost, reliability and governance.
