Terma is seeking an Advanced Platform Engineer to ensure our integration, test, and delivery environments run reliably. You will operate at the intersection of hardware, software, and infrastructure to enable automated, scalable, and secure deployments across international customer projects.

We value experience in IT infrastructure and DevOps, with on‑premises environments and opportunities to influence architecture and processes.

Qualifications

• Experience with Infrastructure as Code and Configuration as Code tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform).
• Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, Hyper‑V).
• Networking fundamentals (routing, firewalls, VLANs) and provisioning.
• Experience evaluating and mitigating security risks in IaC implementations.
• Strong English communication skills – spoken and written.

• Design, implement, and operate virtual and physical environments for integration, verification, and validation.

Your role in our team

As our new Platform Engineer, you will play a central role in ensuring that our integration, test, and delivery platforms operate reliably and efficiently. You will work in the intersection of hardware, software, and infrastructure – contributing both to internal development and external customer deliveries. Your work enables development teams to integrate and test complex systems while ensuring that customer environments are built, configured, and verified to the highest standards.

Infrastructure & System Integration (I&SI) is part of our Software Acceleration department, forming the foundation on which builds to ensure stable, efficient, and secure software delivery. The team not only supports internal activities but also delivers, configures, and validates the system environments used in our customer projects worldwide.

How you will make a meaningful contribution

Your goal is to ensure our integration, test, and delivery environments run smoothly, enabling effective development and dependable deliveries across our projects.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Develop, automate, and maintain build, integration, and test infrastructure for both R&D and customer projects
• Design, implement, and operate virtual and physical environments supporting integration, verification, and validation
• Prepare, configure, and deliver reference and customer systems for operational use
• Automate deployment, configuration, and test processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and Configuration as Code (CaC)
• Collaborate closely with project teams to integrate software and hardware components into mission-ready solutions
• Monitor and maintain system performance and availability across environments and locations
• Produce and maintain technical documentation for delivered configurations and environments
• Actively contribute to planning, reviews, and retrospectives, sharing knowledge and best practices across I&SI and customer projects

You may come from a software or infrastructure background – what matters most is your passion for building robust, automated, and scalable systems. You’ll apply your expertise in IT infrastructure, DevOps, and system integration to ensure our environments are reliable, secure, and efficient.

Our infrastructure is entirely on‑premises, so experience with self‑managed environments is a strong advantage.
