Job summary

Aalborg University Business School, part of Aalborg University, invites applications for one or more Associate Professors in accounting. The role centers on i) research excellence and publishing in leading journals, ii) teaching across bachelor and master programs, and iii) supervising students and PhD candidates within the Accounting Research Group.

The position is permanent full-time, with expectations to contribute to external funding applications and to be present on campus regularly,

Qualifications

• Evidence of international standard research output.
• Experience in supervising students and pedagogical skills development.
• Willingness to engage in teaching across bachelor, master, and doctoral programs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct independent accounting research and publish in leading international journals.
• Deliver and develop teaching for bachelor, master, and HD/MBA programs, including PBL-based approaches.
• Supervise project groups, individual students, and PhD candidates; contribute to research collaborations.
• Apply for external funding and participate actively in the academic community at AAUBS.
