Job summary

SecureLine in Odense is seeking an experienced Accountant to maintain financial records, prepare financial reports, and ensure tax compliance. The role covers bookkeeping, payroll processing, budgeting, and cash‑flow forecasting within a dynamic team environment.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree in accounting, at least 3 years of experience, and strong analytical and communication skills, with proficiency in QuickBooks and MS Excel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an Accountant or similar role.
• Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws and regulations.
• Proficient in accounting software (QuickBooks) and MS Excel.
• Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate financial records by recording transactions and reconciling accounts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Process payroll and ensure timely payment of employees.
• Monitor cash flow and prepare cash forecasts.
• Assist with budget preparation and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations and file tax returns accurately and on time.
• Identify areas for cost savings or revenue growth opportunities.
