The company is hiring a Vice President of Sales to architect, lead, and scale our international commercial organization. This is a hands‑on leadership role for a proven sales builder, someone who can design systems, coach leaders, and drive high‑performance execution across multiple markets.
You’ll own the full revenue motion: pipeline generation, conversion, retention, and expansion. You’ll work directly with the CEO and VP Growth to turn strategy into daily action, ensuring that the DACH, France, Italy, and UK sales teams hit ambitious GMV and margin targets month after month.
You’ll bring structure, speed, and accountability, building the playbooks, dashboards, and culture that make the company the most efficient commercial machine in the industry.
Build and scale the sales org: lead and expand a multi‑market team across DACH, France, Italy, UK, and future markets. Define org design, quotas, and territory structure.
Run the commercial engine: own GMV, Net Revenue Margin, and conversion. Ensure consistent growth, forecast accuracy, and operational excellence.
Develop leaders: mentor Sales Managers and BDR leads; build a deep bench of performance‑driven talent.
Institutionalize process: create daily cadences, pipeline reviews, deal‑quality standards, and win‑rate tracking.
Integrate with Growth, Procurement, and Operations: align pricing, supply, and delivery to guarantee fast execution and margin control.
Leverage tech: drive adoption of Salesforce as the system of record; deploy AI tools to optimize pricing, forecasting, and sales productivity.
Evolve playbooks: from call to quote, from quote to delivery - refine every step to reduce cycle times and lift close rates.
Champion our office‑only culture: build energy on the sales floor; lead by presence, momentum, and visible performance.
10+ years in B2B sales leadership, ideally in marketplaces, tech‑enabled trade, or digital distribution (materials, logistics, or procurement sectors a plus).
Proven track record of scaling sales teams 50 → 200+ across multiple geographies.
Deep experience with transactional, high‑velocity sales models—short cycles, daily KPIs, and heavy deal volume.
Mastery of Salesforce, data dashboards, and operational CRM hygiene.
Strong commercial acumen: understands pricing, working capital, and contribution margin levers.
A builder’s mindset - you design systems that survive scale.
Fluent in English; German or French is a strong plus.
