Wavedash is hiring Unity Engineers and Graphics Engineers to help bring popular titles to the web. You'll work directly with game developers to optimize and port their games (Unity or Custom Engine) to WebGL/GPU, ensuring exceptional performance and player experience.

Unity Engineers:

Required

  • Strong proficiency in Unity and C# programming
  • Deep understanding of performance optimization techniques (memory management, draw calls, asset optimization)
  • Experience with profiling tools and identifying performance bottlenecks
  • Knowledge of Unity Addressables, lazy loading, and dynamic content management
  • Knowledge of shader optimization and graphics rendering pipelines

Recommended

  • Experience with Unity WebGL/GPU builds and web platform optimization
  • Ability to debug and resolve platform-specific issues including WebGL limitations
  • Familiarity with JavaScript/TypeScript and web technologies
  • Excellent communication skills for working with external developers

Bonus

  • Experience with WebGPU and modern graphics APIs
  • Experience with WebAssembly, Emscripten, or browser APIs
  • Prior experience porting games to multiple platforms
Graphics Engineers:

Required

  • Expert knowledge of one of the following graphics APIs (OpenGL, DirectX, Vulkan, Metal)
  • Strong C/C++ programming skills and low-level optimization experience
  • Deep understanding of rendering pipelines, shader programming (GLSL, HLSL), and graphics architecture

Recommended

  • Experience with WebGL2 or WebGPU APIs
  • Proficiency in debugging graphics issues and using tools like RenderDoc, PIX, or Nsight
  • Knowledge of game engine architecture (Unity, Unreal, Godot, or custom engines)
  • Experience with WebAssembly and Emscripten for porting native code to web
  • Understanding of memory management, threading, and async patterns in web environments
  • Ability to profile and optimize rendering performance for web constraints
  • Strong problem-solving skills for complex graphics and compatibility challenges
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with game developers
