We are seeking a UI/UX Designer (m/f/d) - App & Web to join our team. As a UI/UX Designer for our App and Web teams, you will shape the user experience and interface design of the ABOUT YOU App and our responsive webshop – visited by millions of customers every month. Your mission: create a consistent, intuitive, and joyful shopping experience across all touchpoints. You’ll work closely with designers, product managers, developers, and QAs in a collaborative, cross-functional environment.

What you will do

• You work iteratively on concepts in the form of high fidelity screen designs, user flows, and interactive prototypes and translate them into outstanding and intuitive UI
• You design cross-device concepts and develop features for complex digital applications; you are detail-oriented and think beyond the status quo
• You combine a customer-centric perspective with strong analytical skills and can confidently communicate and present your decisions in both German and English to stakeholders
• You conduct user research, shape concepts, hand designs into development, and perform design QA
• You have a keen eye for typography and smart layouts, are full of ideas, and bring a strong aesthetic vision and a solid understanding of current design trends
• You enthusiastically share your knowledge about usability, user centricity, and Figma features with UX colleagues and product teams, helping to advance our design maturity
• You advocate for the customer perspective and help the product management to consider these in the requirements for new product features and further developments

Who you are

• You are a strong designer with a good understanding of complex product structures and user flows
• You have experience with app designs and responsive designs for web
• You are an absolute Figma expert and know every feature.
• You have experience in building design systems and complex components with properties
• Ideally, you are familiar with iOS and Android design principles, understand the development effort behind your design decisions, and have experience in branding
• Using the possibilities of AI is a key part in your daily workflow in order to be efficient
• You are open-minded, empathetic, and have a strong sense of responsibility and quality
• You possess strong communication and presentation skills and enjoy close collaboration with teams and stakeholders
• You are a builder with a creative problem-solving mindset and very strong curiosity to learn and to work in a team
• You are highly motivated, proactive with a can-do attitude and ready to work in a fast-paced environment
