- In your role as Sustainability Manager (m/f/d) Environmental and Energy Management, you will manage the group-wide environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001 and the energy management system in Germany in accordance with ISO 50001 together with an experienced colleague
- You will develop guidelines and processes, advise the environmental and energy officers at our international production sites, and provide them with technical guidance
- Together with colleagues, you will drive forward the further development of the integrated management system, create synergies between ISO 9001/14001/45001/50001, and conduct international internal environmental and energy audits
- You will develop group-wide ecological standards and integrate them into relevant processes
- You will support the achievement of group-wide environmental, energy, and climate goals, carry out evaluations, accompany the implementation of measures, and support internal and external reporting
- You will be the competent internal contact person for subsidiaries and research and development on the subject of waste and recycling management
- You will actively participate in the further development of our sustainability strategy and be responsible for implementing the resulting projects in close coordination with the specialist departments
What Makes Us Successful Together
- Qualifications: Degree with a focus on technology or environmental technology
- Experience: At least 5 years of professional experience working with environmental and energy management systems in accordance with ISO 14001 and ISO 50001, ideally in an international manufacturing company
- Know-how and skills: Experience in project management, moderating workshops, and presenting results; confident use of MS Office
- Nice to have: Knowledge of circular economy and waste management
- Personality: Analytical skills, process-oriented approach to work, ability to cooperate, reliability, and persuasiveness
- Language skills: Very good written and spoken German and business fluent English
