What you’ll do
- Play a key role in developing and executing the transportation sustainability strategy (Scope 3.4-3.9) across inbound and outbound logistics, aligning with company sustainability goals
- Standardize and align sustainable logistics processes and metrics across regions, embedding ethical procurement, carbon reduction, waste minimisation, and responsible resource management
- Oversee the design and rollout of sustainable and carrier engagement templates and governance to ensure consistency, data integrity, and measurable impact
- Lead cross‑functional collaboration, training, and adoption with Procurement, Operations, Logistics, and external partners, prioritising template integrity while minimising local exceptions
- Drive continuous improvement and external representation by monitoring regulations and best practices, providing guidance to internal teams, and representing Knauf in conferences and working groups
Who you are
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or bring equivalent relevant experience
- Demonstrate proven experience in supply chain or logistics with a focus on sustainability initiatives, including Scope 3 transportation
- Have a strong track record of implementing sustainability programs in complex supply chain environments with measurable outcomes in emissions reduction and responsible sourcing
- Bring a strong understanding of sustainability principles, including carbon footprint reduction, circular economy concepts, waste minimisation, and social responsibility standards
- Exhibit excellent project and stakeholder management skills with the ability to lead cross‑functional teams and drive results in a fast‑paced environment
