Software Developer (Game Engine, Web, XR) (m/f/d)

position within the research project “Reallabor Metaverse”, starting 01.01.2026 or later in full-time (39,5 hours per week), for a period of two years.

Your tasks

• Support in the definition and implementation of the VISTA system architecture and platform
• Implementation of additional tools and workflows in the overall context of the project
• Extension and evaluation of the existing tools and frameworks
• Collaboration with VISTA project partners developments
• Technical support of exemplary productions
• Dissemination in scientific publications

Your profile

• Intrinsic motivation, interest and deep understanding of technology and its creative potential
• Completed studies or several years of professional experience in software development and/or media productions
• Extensive knowledge in XR software development (CPP, C#, Unity), web/network communication and real-time/game technology
• Exceptional inter-personal skills, problem solving and development
• Secure handling in digital communication tools and structures such as wiki, email, project management tools, etc.
• Organizational talent, resilient, versatile and flexible, ability to work in a team
• Good knowledge of English
• Valid work permit within the European Union
