We are a software development company located in Dresden-Hellerau (Germany), dedicated to creating solutions that play a vital role in solving crimes. Our products assist criminal investigation offices, forensic institutes, and DNA laboratories in building offender profiles, analysing evidence, and ultimately resolving cases.
As part of our growth, we are looking for a Senior Software Developer to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to the ongoing development of our Eclipse RCP-based framework solution and support both analysis and implementation tasks. You will collaborate closely with experienced developers to perform feasibility and performance assessments, work with databases, and execute basic SQL queries. The position also involves debugging and optimising existing applications to ensure efficiency and reliability.
You will become an active member of an agile development team, participating in methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban. After a comprehensive onboarding process, you will take responsibility for managing and organising your own tasks independently.
We are looking for someone who has completed vocational training or holds a university degree in computer science or a related field. A sound understanding of software development in Java, along with initial experience using Eclipse, is essential. Strong communication and teamwork skills are required, as well as fluency in both German and English, written and spoken. Above all, we value individuals who are eager to learn and committed to continuous professional development.
