As a Senior Project Manager Mechanical Engineering, you will lead a team in the mechanical engineering department, ensuring technical excellence, adherence to deadlines, and budget control.

Your responsibilities include:

1. Leading and managing a team of internal and external mechanical design engineers
2. Ensuring the technical design and integration of mechanical systems and components
3. Monitoring budget compliance and ensuring timely delivery of project milestones
4. Acting as the primary contact for clients, suppliers, authorities, classification societies, and flag states
5. Coordinating interdisciplinary collaboration between various departments and systems
6. Reviewing and approving technical documentation, including specifications and drawings
7. Evaluating contractual changes and client requests, and supporting offer development

Qualifications:

1. Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering Technology, or equivalent (e.g., Meister, Techniker)
2. Several years of experience in mechanical design within the maritime industry
3. Strong knowledge of system design standards and marine classification society requirements
4. Experience in leading technical teams or subprojects; independent and structured working style with high communication skills
5. Proficiency in German and English, both written and spoken
6. Enthusiasm for working in a collaborative and solution-oriented team environment
