We’re looking for a Senior Backend Developer (m / f / d) to join our Transaction & Customer Team within the Checkout Unit – onsite in Hamburg or remotely within Germany.

Our team ensures a seamless shopping experience by managing the entire order lifecycle – from cart to payment, including chargebacks, refunds, and promotions. A key focus is COBA, a core backend service handling orders, payments, and customer data.

What you will do

1. Work on high-scalable products with PHP hosted on a cloud-based infrastructure
2. Build and provide internal & external RESTful APIs that ensure a fast & frictionless updating of our products
3. Develop multiple platforms ranging from high throughput to maximum faultlessness
4. Constantly challenge and expand your knowledge of reliable architecture, programming and new technologies
5. Work with agile processes that are adapted to the team’s and company’s needs
6. Exchange your knowledge with other developers and be part of our ABOUT YOU TECH community

Who you are

1. 5+ years of experience with PHP, with a strong focus on modern development
2. Proven expertise in Symfony, following best practices for scalable applications
3. Golang experience is a plus
4. Solid understanding of engineering principles and software architecture
5. Strong experience with MySQL & Redis
