Jobbeschreibung
Senior Fullstack Engineer Supply Planning (m/f/d)

Hamburg, Germany

Join us as a Senior Fullstack Engineer (m/f/d) in our Supply Planning team and help shape the future of autonomous mobility!

The Supply Planning team ensures that MOIA’s vehicles are always in the right place, at the right time, and in the right condition, whether operated by drivers or, soon, autonomously.

Our mission is to provide intelligent, automated tooling that powers the backbone of our operations: from planning shifts and validating schedules, to optimizing charging, service intervals, and vehicle availability.

We build systems that keep people and vehicles moving efficiently, reliably, and sustainably, while supporting planners, drivers, and service staff to perform at their best. As a small, stream‑aligned team of engineers and domain experts, we strive for engineering excellence: high testability, clean architecture, and measurable performance. We love to learn, share knowledge, and adopt best practices that make a real impact on how mobility works at scale.

What you will do
  • Design, develop, and optimise services that ensure smooth and efficient operations. From shift planning and validation to managing vehicle plans, charging schedules, and service intervals.
  • Take ownership of critical systems that keep our fleets running and our employees’ timesheets accurate and reliable.
  • Make informed, data‑driven decisions on technologies and tools to ensure scalable and maintainable solutions.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to deliver high‑quality, impactful software.
  • Mentor and guide engineers, contributing to a culture of continuous learning and technical excellence.
  • Help evolve our architecture, identify technical improvements, and shape the direction of our stack and engineering practices.
What will help you to fulfil your role
  • Ability to conceptualise, plan the implementation of and communicate complex technical ideas.
  • Proficiency in Kotlin and/or Typescript, with an interest in both, or similar strongly typed languages.
  • Experience in working with serverless AWS services, such as Lambda, DynamoDB and SQS.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (i.e. CDK).
  • Knowledge of current trends in software design, event‑driven architecture and DevOps practices.
  • Provides mentoring to other engineers (pair programming, code reviews, feedback).
  • Ownership and support in the decision‑making process for a larger technical concern, e.g. strategy for handling technical debt.

We welcome applicants from diverse backgrounds—even if you don’t meet every requirement. If you are excited about the role and MOIA’s mission, we’d love to hear from you!

Our benefits in a nutshell
  • Competitive salary (including bonus).
  • Hybrid work setup: work from home or one of our offices—your team decides how often to meet, blending flexibility with collaboration.
  • Flexible working hours and the possibility of flexible work arrangements depending on your needs (parenting, care work, volunteering, etc.).
  • Budget and monthly expense allowance for home‑office set‑up.
  • Possibility of remote work from outside Germany for up to 6 weeks per year from over 35 countries—learn more in our blog.
  • Public transport ticket (fully subsidised “Deutschlandticket”) for commuting and travelling throughout Germany and discount on MOIA rides.
  • Subsidised fitness club membership or bike leasing.
  • Learning environment with continuous learning days, job rotation, trainings and workshops, coaching, conferences, books, and language classes.
  • Mental health support, 1:1 sessions with external professionals and mental unload workshops.
  • 30 vacation days, sabbatical and unpaid leave option.
  • Relocation support with service provider (visa, administration, etc.).
  • Dog‑friendly offices.

For student & internship positions, we have an adjusted set of benefits. You can find them here.
