Senior Director, Business Development – Biotech / Pharma / CRO

We’re supporting a global life sciences organisation in the search for a Senior Director, Business Development - a strategic, high-impact role focused on expanding client partnerships across full-service clinical development and Pharmacovigilance (PV) solutions.

The Role

You’ll lead growth across key territories, identifying new opportunities, managing RFI/RFP responses, and driving complex contract negotiations. This is a senior commercial position suited to someone with a deep understanding of CRO operations, client engagement, and strategic sales leadership.

About You
  • Proven track record in Business Development or Sales within Pharma, Biotech, or CRO.
  • Experience selling full-service clinical development and/or Pharmacovigilance solutions.
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent negotiation, presentation, and client management skills.
  • Confident leading proposals and bid defences across global accounts.
  • Willingness to travel across your territory to build and maintain relationships.
