Your contribution :
  • Manage the installation, configuration, maintenance, and performance optimization of MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Oracle databases.
  • Collaborate closely with development and cross‑functional teams to support database requirements, implement security policies, and ensure efficient access control.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot database performance issues, conduct query tuning, and implement backup and recovery strategies to maintain data integrity and availability.
  • Plan and execute database upgrades, migrations, and consolidations, ensuring minimal downtime and adherence to best practices.
  • Mentor and train junior DBAs, create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, and communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
What you bring :
  • Bring at least 5 years of hands‑on experience managing MS SQL Server, PostgreSQL, and Oracle databases, including performance analysis, optimization, and administration across all three platforms.
  • Hold a completed degree in IT, professional training, or a comparable qualification providing a solid foundation in database management and system operations.
  • Possess strong technical expertise in T‑SQL, PL/ pgSQL , and PL/SQL, as well as proficiency with tools such as SQL Server Management Studio (SSMS), pgAdmin , and Oracle SQL Developer; familiar with high availability solutions like Always On, Streaming Replication, and Data Guard, and experienced in backup and recovery technologies.
  • Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills, a keen attention to detail, and strong communication abilities that enable effective collaboration across teams and clear explanation of technical topics.
  • Offer initiative, reliability, and a commitment to continuous improvement — paired with very good German and English language skills for seamless communication in an international environment.
