Would you like to be part of a team focused on increasing adoption of Amazon Web Services by developing large German Enterprises in the Financial Services Market? The Enterprise Account Manager role involves combining sales and technical expertise to drive adoption of AWS among enterprise customers, including executives, business teams, software developers, and IT architects. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter who can develop and execute a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver results.

Key responsibilities
  • Drive business growth and expansion in a defined territory within the Financial Services sector (Insurance or Banking) for clients.
  • Develop and execute a business plan to meet or exceed quarterly targets.
  • Win and manage a set of Key Accounts concurrently and strategically.
  • Articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services and related regulatory requirements.
  • Accelerate customer adoption.
  • Collaborate with partners to extend reach and drive AWS adoption.
  • Articulate AWS' value and influence on market trends such as digitalization, IoT, DevOps, data analytics and cloud/business transformation up to C-level executives.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
  • Significant experience in business acumen combined with technology-related account management/field sales roles; a strong track record in sales/consulting (or business development, sales engineering, or related achievement).
  • Direct field experience with complex Enterprise Accounts subject to regulatory requirements.
  • In-depth understanding of customer use cases and industry trends in Financial Services.
  • Proven hunting ability to work independently to drive projects to completion, often in ambiguous environments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in German and English in business and technical contexts.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Multi-year industry expertise in Insurance or Banking with related regulatory experience.
  • Extensive customer network in the financial services industry.
  • Strong business acumen and certified cloud experience (e.g., AWS Cloud Practitioner).
