Location : Remote (occasional travel may be required, expense allowance paid)

Start : 05 / 01 / 2025

Capacity : Full-time (100%)

Duration : 1 year (extensions possible)

About the Role

We are looking for a Security Architecture Specialist to provide consulting expertise on secure design, architecture and compliance for a large-scale hybrid cloud platform. The role involves defining security architecture principles, guiding secure integration practices and strengthening governance across development and operations teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess the current state of platform security architecture and define guiding principles
• Advise on secure design patterns, access control and integration points
• Translate security principles into actionable architecture decisions
• Support cross-functional teams in embedding security governance and risk management processes
• Lead workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions on security best practices
• Review architectural blueprints for alignment with security and compliance requirements
• Maintain and improve documentation for security architecture management

Requirements

Eligibility

Residency in the EU, EEA, UK, or Switzerland

Profile Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in security architecture, cloud security or related domains
• Expertise in at least one core area: cloud security, IAM, DevSecOps, application security or cryptography
• Strong knowledge of security design frameworks and secure development practices
• Experience translating technical security requirements into design artefacts

Fluent English (C1+)

Preferred

experience with threat modelling, CSPM, SIEM / EDR / XDR tools and frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST or BSI
