A leading Energy company is looking for an experienced SAP Program Manager for a 12-month contract to oversee a global S / 4HANA implementation. The role involves defining the programme scope, establishing governance, and managing budgets. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record in large-scale SAP programmes and strong communication skills. This position is primarily remote with occasional onsite requirements.

SAP Program Manager – 12 Month Contract

Remote (90%) – Global Energy Customer

I’m working with a leading Energy company that’s about to embark on a global greenfield S / 4HANA implementation. The programme is right at the scoping and mobilisation phase, covering 184 entities across four continents.

We’re looking for an experienced SAP Program Manager to take ownership through the early stages, setting the strategy, governance, and delivery framework before the project moves into design and build.

Key responsibilities :

• Define and lead the overall S / 4HANA programme scope, roadmap, and delivery plan
• Establish programme governance, reporting structures, and stakeholder alignment across regions
• Manage SI selection, contracts, and commercials in partnership with procurement and executive sponsors
• Oversee budget, resourcing, and risk management across the global landscape
• Act as the senior interface between business leadership, IT, and delivery partners
• Prepare the organisation for the transition into design and build

Experience required :

• Proven track record leading large‑scale SAP S / 4HANA programmes (greenfield preferred)
• Strong understanding of SAP architecture, integration, and delivery models
• Experience working within complex, multi‑entity, multi‑region environments
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills at executive level
• Background in the energy or asset‑intensive industries would be advantageous
