As part of our Global IT transformation and the further development of S/4HANA as our ERP, we need passionate SAP enthusiasts to take the lead in shaping our future way of working. One of our key roles within our ERP Competence Center is our SAP Inhouse Consultant (m/f/d) Production Planning (PP/DS).

You will be at the heart of our global SAP S/4HANA journey. You will ensure smooth planning processes, optimize our system landscape, and act as a trusted partner for our business. What you can expect

• Drive international SAP S/4HANA rollout projects with a focus on the PP/DS module.
• Analyze and optimize planning processes, and implement effective solutions in SAP PP/DS.
• Perform system customizing and continuously enhance our PP/DS environment to meet business needs.
• Act as a trusted partner for planning, production, and quality teams across the Hero Group.
• Provide expert support, resolve issues, and ensure smooth daily operations.
• Lead workshops and training sessions, and create clear documentation and training materials.
• Collaborate closely with colleagues from adjacent SAP modules and external systems like Arkieva.
• Partner with external service providers and contribute to Change Advisory Board decisions.
• Ensure compliance with Group IT standards and local regulations, while supporting system security and governance.

What you need to be successful in this role

• Hands‑on experience in SAP PP/DS customizing, ideally in S/4HANA.
• Solid understanding of planning management processes and their integration with MM, QM, and PP.
• Practical exposure to international projects or rollouts, with the ability to drive improvements.
• An analytical and solution‑oriented mindset, paired with a hands‑on attitude.
• A structured and independent work style, combined with strong team spirit.
• Excellent communication skills, making complex topics clear and accessible.
• Fluency in English; German and/or Spanish would be a valuable advantage.
• Familiarity with the food or comparable industry is a plus.
