A global information services company is recruiting a Sales Executive in Germany to manage academic, governmental, and medical institutions. The role focuses on developing new business relationships and requires frequent travel. Ideal candidates will have strong sales skills and be fluent in English and German. We are currently recruiting for a Sales Executive based in Germany to cover a portfolio of academic, governmental and medical institutions in the DACH region. The focus of the role is identifying and growing new business in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. You will be generating new leads and maintaining existing business by developing relationships with librarians, faculty leaders and researchers. Exciting products will be in your portfolio; Taylor & Francis Journals & Taylor & Francis Open Access initiatives (Open Research). You will expand our growing Online product and Open Access product lines and maintain an awareness of the business within a competitive trading environment.
We believe that great things happen when people connect face‑to‑face. That's why we work in‑person with each other, or with customers and partners, three days a week or more. This role will be based remotely but will require frequent travel both in Germany and internationally as required, for example to attend team meetings, congresses, customer onsite meetings, etc.
This role is open to candidates based in Germany. You must have the right to live and work in Germany.

A passion for (and / or knowledge of ) working in Journals Sales within the academic and governmental field is highly desirable.
