Your tasks
- Management of complex and large-volume construction projects in the field of transportation infrastructure (roads, railways, bridges, tunnels)
- Management of all project phases, from detailed planning and tendering through to execution and acceptance
- Leading interdisciplinary project teams and coordinating external service providers, subcontractors and authorities
- Ensuring compliance with targets in terms of costs, deadlines and quality
- Analysis and proactive risk management to identify and minimize potential project risks at an early stage
- Conducting negotiations and professional contract management with contractors and suppliers
- Reporting project progress to all internal stakeholders and management
- Ensuring compliance with the highest standards in the areas of occupational health and safety and environmental protection on the construction site
- Communication and effective stakeholder management with local residents, public institutions and interest groups
Your profile
- In-depth specialist knowledge in the fields of civil engineering or transportation through a corresponding qualification
- Proven, extensive practical experience in the successful management of complex transport infrastructure construction projects
- Sound knowledge and confident application of the VOB, HOAI regulations and relevant technical standards
- Experience and ideally certification in established project management methods, e.g. PMP or IPMA
- Confident use of common project management software (e.g. MS Project) and the MS Office suite
- Business fluent in written and spoken German
- Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills
- High sense of responsibility, structured way of working and strong problem-solving skills
- Flexibility and willingness to travel
