Your tasks

• Management of complex and large-volume construction projects in the field of transportation infrastructure (roads, railways, bridges, tunnels)
• Management of all project phases, from detailed planning and tendering through to execution and acceptance
• Leading interdisciplinary project teams and coordinating external service providers, subcontractors and authorities
• Ensuring compliance with targets in terms of costs, deadlines and quality
• Analysis and proactive risk management to identify and minimize potential project risks at an early stage
• Conducting negotiations and professional contract management with contractors and suppliers
• Reporting project progress to all internal stakeholders and management
• Ensuring compliance with the highest standards in the areas of occupational health and safety and environmental protection on the construction site
• Communication and effective stakeholder management with local residents, public institutions and interest groups

Your profile

• In-depth specialist knowledge in the fields of civil engineering or transportation through a corresponding qualification
• Proven, extensive practical experience in the successful management of complex transport infrastructure construction projects
• Sound knowledge and confident application of the VOB, HOAI regulations and relevant technical standards
• Experience and ideally certification in established project management methods, e.g. PMP or IPMA
• Confident use of common project management software (e.g. MS Project) and the MS Office suite
• Business fluent in written and spoken German
• Strong leadership, communication and negotiation skills
• High sense of responsibility, structured way of working and strong problem-solving skills
• Flexibility and willingness to travel
