Are you a compliance detective with an eye for detail? We are looking for a Material Compliance Specialist to ensure that our products not only look great but also comply with all rules and regulations. This includes the following tasks:

1. Ensuring export control compliance in the area of goods/materials.
2. Ensuring compliance of goods with regard to dangerous goods, certifications, CE declarations, safety data sheets, and master data maintenance.
3. Compliance with and implementation of all relevant regulatory requirements in the area of material compliance.
4. Ensuring the correct classification and categorization of goods for export.
5. Involvement in the product development process for the early assessment of potential export control effects.
6. Definition of customs & foreign trade tariff-compliant labeling of goods.

Knowledge and qualifications required:

1. Degree in industrial engineering, business administration, law, or training with relevant qualifications in the field of customs and export control.
2. Several years of relevant professional experience in the field of customs and export control in an internationally operating company, in the upper echelons of customs administration, or in an auditing company.
3. Comprehensive knowledge of customs, preference, and export control law (national, European, and basic knowledge of US re-export control).
4. Very good knowledge of MS Office; experience in Navision BC is desirable.
5. Business fluent in German and English.
