About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Logistics Manager to oversee and optimise the supply chain and materials management for our state-of-the-art data centre project in Frankfurt. You will ensure the timely delivery, storage, and distribution of materials and equipment, coordinating closely with project teams, contractors, and vendors to keep the construction schedule on track.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and manage the logistics strategy for all project materials, equipment, and tools.
• Ensure timely procurement, delivery, and storage of construction materials, including mechanical, electrical, and structural components.
• Develop and maintain inventory management systems to track materials, reduce waste, and avoid shortages.
• Coordinate with vendors, transport companies, and customs authorities for domestic and international shipments.
• Manage on-site logistics operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution of materials to work areas.
• Monitor and report on logistics KPIs, budget compliance, and project progress.
• Ensure adherence to safety, security, and environmental standards in all logistics activities.
• Support the project team in planning for critical path items and long-lead procurement.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of logistics or supply chain management experience in construction or large-scale industrial projects.
• Proven experience managing complex projects with multiple vendors and contractors.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse management, inventory control, and transportation planning.
