LinkedIn Social Media & Content Specialist (B2B Marketing) with German
Location: Mostly remote from Hamburg, Germany or Portugal
Were looking for a proactive and creative Social Media & Content Specialist to support our organic and paid social initiatives, thought‑leadership content, and marketing communications. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity, enjoys taking ownership, and wants to grow in a dynamic B2B marketing environment.
Responsibilities
Organic Social
- Create tailored social media posts for sales and executive ambassador programs, ensuring alignment with key messaging.
- Support social media tracking and measurement.
- Collect and organize LinkedIn post links during events and for all content produced by the team, storing them in structured tables.
- Manually track engagement data (likes, comments, reshares) in a reporting sheet.
- Assist in building post‑event performance reports, including insights, learnings, and recommendations for improvement.
- Support the creation and review of social media assets.
- Use brand design guidelines to conceptualize and brief assets to creative agencies, and review final deliveries.
- Write high‑quality LinkedIn content such as event summaries, long‑form articles, video scripts, event announcements, and product/feature posts.
Paid Social
- Assist with conceptualizing and writing landing page copy for paid campaigns.
- Monitor campaign comments for sentiment and flag critical or relevant mentions.
- Support copywriting for LinkedIn ads and other paid social assets.
Thought Leadership (Think with Google‑style Content)
- Write articles focused on best practices, client case studies, thought leadership, and industry insights.
- Produce a bi‑weekly thought‑leadership newsletter for marketing and advertising professionals.
- Collaborate with creative agencies: write briefs, review visuals, and ensure quality and relevance of graphic assets.
General Content Support
- Draft written communication and email content for client‑facing updates, especially around key industry events.
Requirements & Preferences
- Experience in B2B marketing.
- Strong copywriting skills.
- German C2 level.
- Strong experience using LinkedIn as a B2B marketing platform.
- Understanding of ad formats, targeting, and campaign mechanics.
- Experience developing content for brands or ambassadors.
- (Bonus) Understanding of the broader B2B marketing landscape.
- Committed to staying long‑term not an in‑between job.
- Adaptable, agile, flexible, and comfortable working in ambiguity.
- Proactive with a strong sense of ownership.
- Creative and able to bring new ideas to the table.
