The Position

Support in Organic Chemistry Production (2-year fixed term)

In our department "Production Organic Chemistry," we need support to produce high-quality active substances, contributing to Diagnostics Operations Penzberg. We manufacture a variety of products through diverse organic-chemical processes, used in diagnostics, pharmaceuticals, and biotech industries.

Your team and responsibilities include:

In our Chemistry Lab Scale group, we produce chemical reagents, standards, and active substances. Working with 19 colleagues, you will handle synthesis, purification, and filling of products, ensuring documentation meets high standards. You will also support equipment maintenance, project transfers, and process improvements.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a completed apprenticeship as a chemical laboratory technician or chemist, or as a chemical technician.
• Is experienced in working independently in a chemical lab with solid knowledge in organic and analytical chemistry.
• Is comfortable working with new equipment and handling hazardous materials safely.
• Possesses knowledge in organic synthesis (preferred).
• Can work safely with various hazardous substances, including outside lab scale.
• Has a strong sense of responsibility regarding safety, environmental protection, and quality assurance.
• Has good communication skills and works collaboratively.
• Is precise, reliable, and diligent in documentation.
• Can lift and move loads up to 25 kg regularly.

This position is limited to 2 years.
