The tax administration of the state of Rhineland‑Palatinate is looking to fill the full‑time position (39 hours per week) of an IT specialist (m / f / d) in the Special Unit for Tax Supervision (SES) at the Koblenz tax office. The SES consists of tax investigators and IT specialists who perform central tax investigation tasks as a dedicated and independent team. One of the unit’s main tasks is to uncover new, previously unknown areas of tax evasion, primarily at state level, but also across state borders in cooperation with other tax authorities.
As an IT specialist you will work in a small team to support SES tax investigators in the analytical processing of these audit areas by designing and developing customised IT solutions. Knowledge of tax law is not required.
This is a permanent, open‑ended position. The employment relationship is in pay group 10 TV‑L. After a successful induction period the position will be classified in pay group 11 TV‑L. If you are suitably qualified and meet the requirements under civil service law, you may be eligible for a civil service appointment at a later date.
