This team plays a crucial role in fostering a positive work environment, enhancing employee engagement, and ensuring that Allianz attracts, retains, and develops top talent across its global operations.

The Impact You Will Have

We are seeking a highly organized and proactive HR Consultant to support our People and Culture team in Munich. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with excellent communication skills, being capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. As an HR Consultant, you will play a key role in delivering efficient, compliant, and employee‑centric HR service to all employees in Germany.

You will support the end-to-end employee lifecycle, contribute to process improvement initiatives, and act as a liaison between HR Business Partners, Talent Acquisition, and external service providers (where appropriate).

Responsibilities
  • Ensuring smooth and high quality HR work in close collaboration with HR Business Partners
  • Manage onboarding, offboarding, and lifecycle changes for employees in Germany (e.g., contract administration)
  • Act as point of contact for all HR related ad‑hoc requests
  • Regular and close interaction with the German Workers Council (e.g., contribute to Workers Council hearings)
  • Ensure excellent data quality in all HR systems
  • Collaborate with peers on HR Operation projects and participate in HR process improvement initiatives
  • Ensure accurate regulatory reporting and audits
  • Establish solid relationships with vendors (e.g., payroll or shared service providers)
  • Improve employee experience on service delivery
  • Be a part of the global virtual team comprised of local / regional HR colleagues
What You’ll Bring to the Role
  • Professional training or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Technical expertise in an HR topic area (e.g., Comp / Ben, Learning, Controlling, Grading, Recruiting, etc.), preferably in a global organization
  • International business experience in at least 2 different markets
  • Good knowledge of German employment law
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and other relevant software
  • Discretion and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail
  • A basic understanding of artificial intelligence (AI) and its potential applications in business is essential
  • Excellent intercultural skills with an ability to work in an international and remote working environment
  • Fluent German and English skills required
