An international research university in Biesdorf seeks a Head of ULCC to lead the strategy for academic continuing education. This role emphasizes developing innovative programs, establishing strategic partnerships, and managing a multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree and has extensive experience in education management. Since 1 January, 2025, the University of Luxembourg Competence Centre (ULCC) has been fully integrated into the University of Luxembourg, elevating academic continuing education from a secondary mission to a core mission of the University.
The Competence Centre's activities align with three key strategic areas :
In the key focus areas of the University (Health & Medicine, Digital Transition, Sustainability). This alignment with the University of Luxembourg's strategy and latest research provides credibility, where participants benefit from cutting‑edge information and expertise.
All three areas benefit from the Competence Centre's expertise and tools in digital learning, which include online courses, MOOCs, webinars, and other flexible and accessible e‑learning formats.
Reporting directly to the Vice‑Rector for Academic and Student Affairs, the Head of ULCC will be responsible for providing comprehensive leadership, strategic management as well as oversight of operations. This role combines strategic and innovative thinking, leadership, managerial, and pedagogical skills.
