What you will do

Our development team works in a self‑managed and self‑organized manner according to agile and DevOps principles and practices. You will be working on developing the frontend of our SaaS. In this role you will develop and design UX/UI for frontend features as part of the development team and in close collaboration with product management and UX/UI Design. Together with the development team you will :

• Develop our frontend web application – creating analysis workflows for our customers based on complex production data, developing the architecture of the application, developing visualizations that render large amounts of data, writing tests, and enhancing our testing capabilities.
• Own features from start to end. Shape the features while collaborating with other team members across the organization and actively contribute towards providing a great UI/UX to enterprise manufacturing companies.
• Maintain and extend the frontend codebase, keep the UI/UX code consistent across the application, avoid technical debt, and adhere to security best practices.
• Actively participate in the agile development process and continuously improve the team’s development practices.
• Participate in knowledge transfer across the team.

What we expect from you

• Experience working as a front‑end developer (React, TypeScript, CSS, and HTML) ideally featuring data‑intensive applications and advanced analytics tools.
• Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest / Vitest, Storybook, Cypress).
• Ability to leverage modern AI‑assisted development tools.
• Interest in being challenged by developing a scalable web app with strong UX focus to deliver process insights to our customers based on big data.
• Willingness to immerse yourself and become an expert in a SaaS B2B product for manufacturing processes and the manufacturing domain in general.
• High levels of organizational skills and the ability to work independently with a strong sense of ownership.
• Strong communication skills in English and the ability to explain complex topics.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience with Python (pandas, polars, FastAPI) is a big plus but not required.
• We love the energy that comes from working together in person, so spending time at our Cologne or Berlin office matters to us. One on‑site day per week is the minimum, and more time together is always welcome whenever it works for you.
