Overview

Eurofins In Vitro Diagnostics Solutions is looking for a Food Sensitivity Project Manager for its Gold Standard Diagnostics office located in Kassel, Germany. Gold Standard Diagnostics is a global provider of diagnostic technologies and instruments in the fields of bioanalytical testing for the food, feed, environmental, animal health, and clinical diagnostics industries. The team focuses on research and development, manufacturing, sales, and customer service to deliver innovative, reliable solutions and a gold standard of laboratory diagnostics for Eurofins and third-party laboratories.

To further develop our food sensitivity testing in Kassel, Germany, we’re looking for a business-forward V.I.E candidate with an interest in technology, business strategy, economics, and legal insight. You will guide senior management by delivering clear, relevant information, exploring different angles, and evaluating strategic options. Responsibilities
  • Collaborate closely with teams from Research & Development, commercial operations, and support senior management, and internal and external stakeholders.
  • Benchmark competitor products and strategies, and build a deeper understanding of laboratory requirements and workflows.
  • Align with service providers for software development or product certification, and potential clients to organise external feasibility studies and trials.
  • Conduct option analyses, including high-level assessment on timelines, risks and costs.
  • Organise the flow of information between stakeholders by hosting meetings and providing presentations or trainings.
  • Collect and present information to create a basis for a core business case.

Qualifications
  • Education: Currently enrolled, soon-to-graduate or recently graduated with a university degree or master’s degree in engineering, biotechnology, natural sciences or business/economics. Previous internships at a laboratory or company in the biotechnology industry is a plus.
  • Languages: Fluent in English, German is a plus.
  • Personal skills: Strong communication skills, with solid analytical and problem-solving abilities. Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • V.I.E eligibility: Please note that V.I.E contracts are only applicable to European Economic Area (EEA) citizens who are between 18 and 28 years old. The position is based in Kassel, Germany.
  • Starting date: As soon as possible.
  • Duration of the contract: 12 months.
