  • Design and interpret P&ID diagrams.
  • Define and verify performance parameters via simulation and testing.
  • Select fluid system components and conduct trade-off studies.

Your profile
  • Successfully completed aerospace or mechanical engineering degree (M.Sc./M.Eng.)
  • Programming skills would be an advantage (Python, C++, Matlab).
  • Proficient with CAD software (Inventor/Creo).
  • Experience with simulation software would be an advantage (EcosimPro, Ansys).
  • Hands-on experience with assembling, testing and troubleshooting fluid systems.
  • Work experience in a start-up environment is an advantage.
  • Proactive thinking, high level of motivation, flexibility, and team-working skills.
  • Proficiency in both German and English.

Your mission
  • Design and interpretation of piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID) based on requirements and functional needs.
  • Define and verify key performance parameters, such as flow rates, pressures, and efficiency, through simulation and testing.
  • Define specifications for valves, solenoid valves, control valves, pressure regulators, pressure vessels and safety components.
  • Fluid system component selection, trade-off studies and procurement
  • Simulation and analysis of system behaviour.
  • Design fluid system parts and assemblies in CAD.
  • Define operation and safety procedures for the fluid system.
  • Analysis of test results to check system performance.
