We are looking for a native English-speaking Nursery Teacher (m/f/x) in full- or part-time for our bilingual daycare center Joki Lerchenau.

About Joki Lerchenau

Our daycare cares for 61 children aged from 6 months until they start school, across three nursery groups and one kindergarten group. Located in a quiet residential area in northern Munich, the center features a spacious garden with plants, trees, sandboxes, and a water playground, providing ample outdoor play opportunities. Children engage in educational activities, including cultivation and breeding in herb beds and themed projects. The vicinity includes Lerchenauer See, playgrounds, Olympic Park, and BMW World. Accessible by bus and U3, our location is well-connected.

Your Profile

• Native-level English proficiency (C1/C2)
• Qualification as a nursery teacher, e.g., Bachelor of Early Childhood Education, Social Work, or Psychology
• Interest in bilingual work using the immersion method
• Intermediate German skills (B1/B2)

Our goal at Joki is to work bilingually with two German native-speaking and one English native-speaking nursery teacher per group, with consistent communication in their respective languages. Our teachers serve as role models, fostering joy in communication and interest in foreign cultures. We maintain high pedagogical standards through a high staff-to-child ratio and professional support. Our kitchens prepare freshly cooked, balanced, tasty, and healthy meals to promote health-conscious behavior.
