A leading technology consultancy in Germany is seeking an experienced EDI Consultant / EDI Coordinator to oversee the migration of existing EDI systems to an external service provider. The role focuses on process coordination, stakeholder communication, and testing. Candidates should have a minimum of 6 years in EDI coordination, a solid understanding of EDI processes, and excellent organizational and communication skills. The position is remote for individuals based in Europe.

Qualifikationen

Our automotive customer is in the process of becoming independent as part of a larger organizational transformation. To support this transition we are looking for an experienced EDI Consultant / EDI Coordinator to oversee the migration of existing EDI systems to an external service provider.

The role focuses on process coordination stakeholder communication and testing not on technical development or interface setup.

Framework Conditions

Tasks
  • Act as the main coordinator between business stakeholders, external EDI service providers and trading partners
  • Support the outsourcing and migration of existing EDI systems and interfaces
  • Ensure effective communication alignment and documentation between all parties
  • Monitor test and validate EDI message exchanges and data quality
  • Coordinate and document issue resolution test cases and go-live activities
  • Define and implement processes and governance structures for the new EDI setup
  • Oversee daily EDI operations to ensure stability and smooth data exchange
Requirements
  • Minimum 6 years of experience in EDI coordination, business integration or interface management
  • Solid understanding of EDI processes and standards (e.g. EDIFACT ANSI X12 IDoc)
  • Experience in collaborating with external EDI providers and managing multiple partners
  • Hands‑on experience with testing and validation of EDI connections and data flows
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills in an international environment
  • Structured proactive and detail‑oriented working style
  • Fluent English (spoken and written)
