Senior Asset Manager (f/m/d)/ Head of Asset Management (f/m/d) in spe

The role will be based in Berlin with direct reporting to- and close collaboration with the Managing Partners and offers the opportunity to contribute in shaping processes/ structures and to gradually grow into the position of Head of Portfolio/ Asset Management while expanding the team with new AUM.

Key responsibilities:

• Supervision of the local asset management team in Berlin
• Supervision of all (commercial and technical) processes
• Close control/ monitoring of the external property management
• Identification of cost drivers, targeted optimization of service charge costs, optimization of service contracts on a case-by-case basis
• Tendering, retaining, and controlling service providers
• Coordination with lawyers on contractual issues and legal disputes
• Analysis of exit opportunities, hold/sell analysis
• Key contact for investors’ portfolio managers on strategic and selected day-to-day AM topics
• Letting/ active leasing management and marketing of AUM with service providers (marketing/leasing)
• CAPEX redevelopment
• Preparation of strategic business plans, annual property, and capex budgets
• Negotiating refinancing and loan agreements (shared role with finance team)

A completed degree in real estate economics or similar as well as several years of experience in the field of commercial (strategically budgeting-) and technical asset management is expected. Business fluency in both English and German will be necessary.
