Job Description

As the Senior Controlling & Planning Manager at Omio, you will oversee and manage various financial aspects of the organization. You will act as a finance business partner, collaborating with different teams to ensure financial objectives align with the company's goals.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
  1. Compile and present comprehensive monthly management and financial reports to internal and external stakeholders.
  2. Conduct in-depth reviews and delta analyses of financial data, provide commentary, and identify opportunities for improvement.
  3. Lead the bi-annual OPEX/CAPEX budgeting process.
  4. Track and report on the development of CAPEX spending towards internally generated intangible assets.
  5. Collaborate closely with group function leaders, offering insights and guidance on all financial matters.
  6. Support the accounting teams during month-end closing and perform reviews to ensure financial statements are complete and accurate.
  7. Train and mentor junior team members.
  8. Generate and present ad hoc financial reports and analyses as needed.
Minimum qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a financial controller / FP&A Manager or similar role, with demonstrated expertise in financial reporting and analysis.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in financial modeling, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations (IFRS, HGB).
  • Proficiency in financial software and tools.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
