Responsibilities:
- Independent responsibility: Independent management and implementation of the operational procurement of construction services with a volume of up to € 25 million p.a. in Germany and abroad.
- Conducting negotiations: Independently preparing, conducting and concluding purchasing negotiations with national and international suppliers and construction service providers.
- Framework agreements: Conclusion, updating and monitoring of framework agreements with construction service providers.
- Supplier management: Identification, selection, evaluation and development of national and international suppliers to optimize our supplier portfolio and expand new and existing strategic supplier relationships.
- Contract optimization: Regular analysis and controlling of contract agreements in order to prepare new and renegotiations and initiate appropriate measures.
- Coordination with specialist departments: Professional interface communication with the specialist departments as well as solution-oriented collaboration in cross-divisional teams in the planning and implementation of construction services. Contract implementation: Supporting the specialist departments in supplementary negotiations, complaints and enforcement of claims for damages.
Qualifications:
- Education: Completed business studies (also with a technical focus) or comparable training.
- Professional experience: At least five years of experience in the field of operational purchasing of facility management and construction services in the context of complex construction projects or in the CREM environment of internationally operating companies (experience in an international context is an advantage).
- Specialist knowledge: Sound experience in complex procurement projects in the construction industry, as well as very good commercial, technical and contract law knowledge in relation to contract awards in accordance with VOB/BGB/HOAI.
- Negotiating skills: Convincing appearance, negotiating skills and strong communication skills in negotiations with national and international service providers and decision-makers.
- Personal qualities: Personal responsibility, assertiveness, high performance orientation as well as the ability to work in a team, reliability and loyalty.
- IT skills: Confident handling of MS Office applications and SAP MM.
- Languages: Business fluent English.
- Mobility: Willingness to undertake occasional business trips (including international ones).
