This Position reports to: Quality Manager

Key responsibilities

In this role, you will make a significant contribution to the health and safety of our employees. You will carry out preventative measures, support occupational health management and provide advice on medical issues and in crisis situations. Your expertise will help to meet legal requirements and create a safe, healthy and motivating working environment.

The work model for the role is: onsite (#LI-Onsite)

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Supporting the employer in accordance with Section 3 of the Occupational Safety Act (ASiG) and other regulations such as ArbSchG, ArbMedVV, SGB VII and SGB IX
  • Carrying out occupational medical examinations, consultations and treatments for employees
  • Participation in health promotion measures and development of preventive programs as part of occupational health management
  • Management of the company medical service, including outpatient operations and organization of consultation hours
  • Collaboration in company emergency and crisis management, including specialist advice to the crisis team and planning medical emergency responseSupporting company integration management (BEM) and the reintegration of sick employees
  • Ensuring compliance with occupational health regulations and fulfilling documentation obligations
Qualifications for the role
  • Completed medical studies and license to practice medicine, including specialist training in occupational medicine and entry in the medical register
  • Sound knowledge of the relevant laws and regulations (ASiG, ArbSchG, ArbMedVV, SGB VII, SGB IX)
  • Relevant professional experience in occupational medicine or a comparable discipline
  • Strong communication and counseling skills in dealing with employees and managers
  • Ability to independently organize and manage the occupational health service
  • Ability to work in a team, solution-oriented approach and experience in health and crisis management
