This is a hybrid clinical and training position, ideal for a confident educator who's passionate about developing nursing teams while continuing to deliver high‑quality patient care in the community.

You'll play a vital role in ensuring our nurses maintain outstanding standards of care and competence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assess, mentor and maintain nurses' competencies in line with clinical standards and best practice
  • Support onboarding, upskilling, and ongoing professional development of nursing staff
  • Provide specialist community‑based care to patients when required
  • Act as a clinical role model, promoting excellence and evidence‑based practice
  • Conduct audits and reviews to ensure training quality, compliance, and clinical governance
  • Maintain accurate documentation in line with SOPs, SeOPs and the NMC Code of Practice
  • Collaborate with regional teams to continuously improve training delivery and patient outcomes
About You

We're seeking a credible and enthusiastic clinician with a strong background in education and a passion for supporting others.

You'll bring:

  • Current NMC registration (RN, RGN or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a clinical educator, trainer, or practice development role
  • Strong presentation and facilitation skills, with confidence in group or one‑to‑one settings
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Confidence using and teaching clinical equipment and techniques
  • A flexible, proactive approach and the ability to manage priorities independently
  • Experience within community or homecare settings (highly desirable)
  • Full UK driving licence – comfortable travelling across the South West, London and South East (company car provided)
What's on Offer
  • Competitive salary with a comprehensive benefits package
  • Company car, fuel card, and lunch allowance
  • 25 days' annual leave + bank holidays
  • Private medical insurance, pension, and life cover
  • Ongoing CPD and professional development opportunities
  • Supportive, collaborative team culture focused on quality, safety, and patient experience
