CAIP, a leading manufacturer of high-quality injection-molded automotive interior components, is expanding its presence in Europe. Our Munich site, close to major automotive hubs, serves as a key innovation and development center.

We are seeking for an experienced "CAD Supervisor – Automotive Interiors (m/f/d)" to drive the setup, optimization and advancement of CAD processes for CAIP Group at our Munich office.

Aufgaben
  • teamlead of engineering projects to complete design projects (center console, door panel, pillar, trunk trim, side panel) for major OEMs
  • control the engineering project, time milestone and the quality of deliverables at each step
  • communicate and exchange technical information with OEM customers, ensure close communication with the domestic engineering team and OEM team
  • review relevant data and drawings, DFM, CAE, DFMEA, GD&T and dimensional chain calculations, testing, validation and safety
  • organize systematic training for the engineering and CAD-team on European OEM projects to enhance the team's technical level
Qualifikation
  • Bachelor's degree or above in mechanical engineering, vehicle engineering or related fields
  • 5+ years of experience in leading engineering projects for European OEMs or Tier-1 suppliers
  • relevant knowledge in production manufacturing processes, system assembly design, DFM, CAE, DFMEA, GD&T, dimensional chain calculations, DV-/PV-testing and safety
  • proficient in CAD software (CATIA/UG NX) and PDM-systems (Teamcenter, Smaragd, KVS, Prisma)
  • fluent in English and German; Chinese is a plus.
  • excellent communication and coordination skills, teamwork spirit and able to cooperate with the project development schedule
  • experience in managing multinational design teams is preferred
