What you’ll build As a Senior Business Processes Consultant within our Center of Expertise (CoE) for Procurement, you will deliver high‑impact customer engagements across both functional and technical areas, with a strong focus on SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba. You will drive customer success and innovation in the procurement area. The dynamic nature of customer situations makes this role both challenging and rewarding.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive Customer Transformation & Adoption: Support our customers in their journey towards SAP S/4HANA and SAP Ariba solutions. Design review activities and provide support for prototyping and Proof of Concept development for both standard and custom solutions.
• Analyze & Optimize Processes: Evaluate complex procurement‑focused business processes, perform root cause analysis, and optimize processes in diverse system landscapes.
• Deliver Expert Services: Collaborate with experts from our own and other CoEs to provide remote and on‑site services, including system optimization, conceptual planning, and empowering customers with the latest best practice knowledge.
• Embrace Flexibility: Navigate the constantly changing customer situations with a high degree of flexibility and adapt your approach to each new customer.

Travel Requirements: Regular travel may be required, with an estimated range of 10‑20%.

What you bring

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Extensive SAP Procurement Experience: Minimum of 7 years delivering services, projects, or support for SAP Procurement solutions (SAP ERP MM, SAP S/4HANA Sourcing & Procurement, SAP Ariba, and SAP Fieldglass). End‑to‑end business process expertise in S/4HANA Procure‑to‑Pay/Source‑to‑Pay, SAP Ariba, and SAP Fieldglass.
• Strong functional knowledge of customizing, setup, and configuration.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving capabilities. Proficient in programming languages such as Java, C++, and ABAP.
• Technical expertise in SAP systems, integration architecture, ABAP, and HANA Database.
• Effective Communication and Stakeholder Management: Business fluency in written and spoken English. Proficiency in German is strongly advantageous. Proven experience interacting with C‑level sponsors.
• Preferred Qualifications: University degree in Computer Science, Business Engineering/Administration, or a related field. Familiarity with Cloud Solutions, Business Technology Platform, IoT, AI, big data, and blockchain is a plus. Demonstrated dedication to staying current with solution advancements and industry trends. Excellent root cause analysis and debugging skills.
