The Business Partner, People and Culture EMEA is responsible for providing comprehensive People and Culture support and guidance to leaders and employees across the EMEA region, ensuring alignment with Telix’s overall business strategy and goals. This role involves ensuring the effective implementation of global People strategies, tailored to regional needs, with a strong focus on legal compliance in key EMEA markets such as the UK, France, Switzerland, and Belgium. This role requires strong experience in business partnering within the EMEA region, a deep understanding of local labor laws, and the ability to navigate complex legal frameworks to mitigate risks. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in People and Culture Business Partner functions, Talent management, and employee relations, while fostering a positive and compliant work environment.

Key Accountabilities

  • Business Partnering: Act as the People & Culture partner for leaders and employees across the EMEA region, offering guidance and support on all P&C matters, and implementing global People strategies while ensuring they are tailored to regional needs and compliance.
  • Legal and Risk Management:
  • Ensure that all People and Culture practices comply with EMEA local regulations, especially concerning employment law, data protection (GDPR), and equal opportunity standards.
  • Provide strategic advice and guidance on local labor laws, ensuring compliance with regional legal requirements, especially in high-risk areas like the UK, France, and Switzerland.
  • Employee Relations and Engagement: Lead initiatives that foster positive employee relations, drive engagement, and provide counsel on employee relations issues, performance management, and conflict resolution.
  • Workforce Planning: Collaborate with senior leaders to develop accurate workforce plans that align with the business’s growth objectives and the regional strategy.
  • Talent and Recruitment Partnership: Advise leadership on talent requirements, capabilities, and roles, ensuring that recruitment processes align with business needs and legal requirements in EMEA countries.
  • Onboarding and Employee Integration: Ensure a seamless and positive onboarding experience for new employees, aligning with Telix’s values and culture, and working with managers to provide effective induction programs.
  • People & Culture Leadership: Support the Director People & Culture, EMEA, in providing governance and risk leadership to ensure that People and Culture practices are aligned with Telix’s overall business objectives.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Participate in cross-functional people and culture activities to promote knowledge sharing and enhance overall organizational effectiveness.

Education And Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. Additional certifications in HR or employment law are a plus.
  • 7+ years' experience across a range of generalist P&C functions, providing subject matter expertise, coaching, advice, generalist skills and employee advocacy
  • Proven track record as an HR Business Partner within the EMEA region, with substantial experience navigating the legal landscape of multiple EMEA countries (especially the UK, France, Switzerland, and Belgium).
  • Strong understanding of EMEA labor laws and legal frameworks, with the ability to navigate complex compliance issues and mitigate risks associated with employment.
  • Experience in managing a diverse, multi-country workforce and understanding the cultural nuances of various EMEA regions.
  • Experience working in a global People & Culture team strongly preferred
  • Fluency in French and English (spoken and written) is required. Proficiency in additional languages is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • A strong commitment to employee confidentiality at all times.
  • Strong proficiency across the Microsoft office suite.
  • Experience working in People & Culture in biotechnology, pharmaceuticals or in a highly regulated industry is preferred.
  • Experience using HRIS or other people systems an advantage
