Zusammenfassung

A leading company in the food industry in Braunschweig is seeking a Junior Manager for Business Development. The role focuses on valuations within M&A projects and requires a degree in finance or related fields, along with three years of relevant experience. Ideal candidates should possess strong analytical and communication skills and be willing to travel. Qualifikationen

Business Development / Junior Manager Valuation & Modelling (m/f/d)

As our new colleague in the Business Development team, you will focus on company valuation within M&A projects (share deal, asset deal, joint venture) but also on asset valuations and general preparation of business cases.

Area of responsibility:

  • Managing the valuation and financial modelling workstream on M&A projects
  • Actively coordinating with the Finance, Legal, Tax, Accounting, Controlling, and Treasury departments as well as the operating units to build a broad network within the Group
  • Analyzing business plans and valuation models, preparing scenario calculations, and supporting special projects within the Group, if required
  • Forecasting the effects of transactions on Nordzucker’ s key financial indicators and creating simulations and integrated financial models
  • Preparing presentations for the Executive and Supervisory Boards
  • Interacting, coordinating, and cooperating with other internal departments, consultants, and external companies
  • Monitoring timely and within budget execution of the projects

The ideal candidate (m/f/d):

  • Has successfully completed a degree in business administration, economics, finance, or equivalent
  • Has at least three years of professional experience in a transaction-related environment, e.g., in transaction advisory services of an investment bank/big four, or in private equity or corporate M&A
  • Is familiar with M&A processes and the associated financial matters (e.g., purchase price mechanism/EV to equity bridge), experiences in Purchase Price Allocations and in kind-valuations is beneficial
  • Is committed and has an independent, structured, analytical, and reliable way of working
  • Has a high sense of responsibility
  • Has strong communication skills in English; language skills in German and / or Portuguese are beneficial
  • Is a team player with a willingness to travel
