A research center for materials and energy in Berlin seeks a Beamline Scientist specializing in X-ray spectroscopy. This role involves conducting research projects, developing techniques, and supporting users in experiments. Our department researches fundamental processes of light-energy conversion at the atomic level. We are looking for a suitable candidate for the further development and supervision of the hard X-ray spectroscopy beamline KMC-3 at BESSY II.
The employment contract is unlimited. The salary is based on the Collective Agreement for the German Public Service (TVöD-Bund).
