Your Role
  • You lead the System and Verification Engineering team as a disciplinary manager in a matrix organization

  • You ensure the availability of the necessary expertise in system and verification engineering

  • You take on technical leadership in areas such as specification engineering, architecture, and concept development

  • You are responsible for the design of control systems as well as the planning and execution of tests

  • You manage technical suppliers and contractors and serve as a technical point of contact for stakeholders

  • You ensure adequate overall performance and quality of tasks assigned by projects

  • You conduct cost and effort estimations to support project planning

  • You review the work and deliverables of the team and further develop the necessary competencies within the team

  • You promote initiatives, innovations, and continuous improvements in terms of know-how, tools, and methods

  • You contribute to transnational resource planning within the matrix organization and support the development of a skill matrix for all team members

Your Profile
  • master's degree or PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field

  • at least 3 years of experience in disciplinary team leadership

  • at least 5 years of experience with proven expertise and track record in complex mechanical design or system engineering (mechatronic systems, high precision motion, space mechanisms)

  • knowledge of relevant system engineering methodology, verification equipment, and control architecture

  • ability to motivate employees and establish an effective team; experienced in communication and collaboration between departments and external service providers

  • fluent English skills (at least C1) and solid German language skills (at least B2)
