Our client, a global market leader in the development and manufacturing of biologics and biopharmaceuticals, is looking for aSenior Bioprocess Engineerfor a12-month contract role, based on-site inVisp, with high chances of extension.

This is an opportunity to contribute to one of Switzerland’s fastest growing biopharmaceutical sites, supporting both clinical and commercial manufacturing and driving the operational readiness of new initiatives, such as SAP rollouts and continuous improvement projects.

Main Responsibilities:

• Lead operational activities in Upstream and/or Downstream processing or BioConjugate manufacturing, including technology transfer support, material planning, batch record preparation, training, troubleshooting, and deviation handling
• Act as a functional lead in the roll-out of new SAP functionalities and manufacturing documentation updates
• Guide interdisciplinary teams across manufacturing, logistics, and quality to ensure project performance and deliverables
• Establish and deliver training materials to operational teams, logistics staff, and other manufacturing-related areas
• Support day-to-day production activities in defined DSP areas such as capture, intermediate purification, polishing, or drug substance filling
• Ensure efficient operation of single-use and/or stainless-steel equipment in line with GMP for purification of therapeutic proteins (microbial or mammalian) or for manufacturing BioConjugates like ADCs

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in Biotechnology, Biochemical Engineering, Biochemistry or similar Life Sciences
• Significant industry experience in Downstream Processing or BioConjugates manufacturing
• Strong GMP knowledge and cGMP manufacturing experience
• In-depth SAP knowledge, especially material management (BOM) and change documentation
• Experience working as an MES End-User and good understanding of production logistics
• Excellent communication skills in English and German
