(Senior) Manager Tax Technology – Tax & Legal

Help our clients successfully manage global challenges
As a Manager in our growing business tax team, you will be providing tax technology advisory and implementation services to our clients. You will be working on (global) engagements and together with your team provide international organisations with leading services on global tax technology. Your main focus will be on technology for direct tax process challenges, including tax accounting, BEPS 2.0 / Pillar 2 (“GloBE”) and direct tax compliance and you will be ultimately enabling our clients to successfully navigate the changing Swiss and international tax landscape.
How you can make an impact

• Together with your team you will work out best-practice solutions and support our clients in developing, analysing and implementing processes and procedures to address the challenges expected from GloBE
• Apply knowledge of Deloitte’s Pillar Two Agent to advise clients and implement the solution to meet their specific needs
• Perform client demonstrations of Deloitte’s Pillar Two Agent tool and other GloBE, tax provision and automation technologies
• Train your team to deliver live software demos
• Understand and react to clients’ needs to be able to advise appropriately on tax technology, and wider tax process issues
• Take a pragmatic approach to solving client problems in tax technology, specifically on GloBE challenges
• Coordinate and supervise international teams on implementing tax technology, by managing demands of the client and actively maintaining an overview of the status and requirements
• Coordinate input from subject matter experts to provide the best advice to our clients
• Advise our clients in improving their operating strategy and organization of tax functions, tax processes and tax risk management
• Support our clients and our teams to transform into the digital age and stay on trend with technologies and innovations in tax

Who we are looking for

• Strong experience in data transformation, including building extract, transform and load (ETL) processes, data transformation pipelines and APIs
• and resolving complex issues
• Experience of presenting to clients and leading technical discussions on global tax tools, including adapting solutions to client-specific needs
• Worked on the development of tax technology solutions, including collection and implementation of client requirements and change requests
• Skills in automation tools such as Alteryx, Excel VBA, Power Query, as well as programming in Python or SQL, including manipulation of large data sets, and have used these to build solutions for a client
• Supported bids and proposals as part of a client advisory team
• Ideally you have Agile, Lean and/or Scrum experience
• Communicate fluently in English. German or French knowledge is an advantage but not a must
