Head Of It Operations

As Head of IT Operations, you will own the strategic and operational IT landscape at one of Switzerland’s leading marketing agencies. Your role involves ensuring reliable infrastructure and support, driving transformation projects like ERP rollout, articulating and implementing the company's systems and technology strategy, and collaborating closely with the CFO, senior management, and business teams. Your leadership will elevate IT from a support function to a strategic enabler for growth.

Your responsibilities

You are responsible for the operational, strategic, and leadership aspects of the IT Operations department. Together with your team, you ensure IT governance, security, and the development of systems, plan and operate IT services supporting business processes, and manage IT architecture, budgeting, controlling, and procurement. You will work closely with the business operations head to prioritize technical and process changes within our tool landscape.

Your involvements include :

• Developing and leading a distributed team of IT specialists, serving as a strategic partner for management on technical and strategic questions
• Ensuring exceptional IT service delivery to internal clients
• Managing end-user devices (macOS and Windows laptops) with your team
• Overseeing network and critical infrastructure (e.g., Projektron BCS, BLP, Abacus)
• Managing security infrastructure (e.g., Zscaler, Google Workspace, JumpCloud) and extending MDM and directory solutions for device management
• Monitoring system utilization, handling notifications and security warnings, and ensuring security practices are followed
• Maintaining documentation for operational processes and self-service resources
• Overseeing onboarding and offboarding processes for employees
• Continuously enhancing the end-user experience

Your profile

• Experienced in team leadership, IT planning, and budgeting
• Managed teams and distributed technology environments
• Deep IT knowledge in Mac and Windows environments, network engineering, hardware, and software skills
• Strong understanding of IT security principles and best practices
• Collaborates effectively with CFO and management to support internal stakeholders
