CHF100.00/hr - CHF105.00/hr

Senior Firewall Engineer (80-100%)

Start: ASAP

Duration: Limited until the end of 2025 (option to extend)

Workload: 80-100% (preferably 100%)

Contract type: Contracting / Personnel leasing

Working hours: 41 hours per week

On-call inserts: No mandatory on-call inserts

Security check: Criminal and debt collection excerpt required

• Operation and further development of firewall architectures according to customer requirements
• Configure and manage firewall rules to ensure network security
• Monitoring and analysis of security vulnerability detection and remediation systems
• Troubleshooting network and security issues
• Advice on network security best practices
• Documentation of solutions and changes
• Collaboration in projects for the implementation and optimization of security solutions

Your profile

• Completed training or further education in the IT sector (network/security)
• Several years of experience with Palo Alto Networks firewalls
• Certifications such as PCNSA or PCNSE are an advantage
• Knowledge of cloud security (e.g. Prisma Access) desirable
• Experience with other security solutions is an advantage
• Very good knowledge of German and good English
