(Senior) Consultant - Deal Advisory Financial Services - Full Time

As part of our successful Deal Advisory Financial Services team, your primary role will be the execution of Due Diligence projects and support on Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) mandates. You will assist national and international clients in complex transactions by analyzing opportunities and risks, drawing relevant conclusions, and working in a fast-paced environment with diverse stakeholders.

Your contribution to KPMG

• Support clients in strategic acquisitions or disposals through due diligence services.
• Gather, compile, and analyze financial, commercial, and operational data of target companies for key deal metrics such as revenues, earnings, net assets, and cash flows.
• Identify key value drivers using MS Excel and data analytics tools.
• Prepare client presentations and participate in targeting activities.
• Conduct industry research and contribute to KPMG publications.
• Take responsibility quickly in a demanding environment and engage with internal and external stakeholders.
• Participate in training and development opportunities offered by KPMG.

What makes you successful

• Completed Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Administration, Banking and Finance, or Economics, preferably with a focus on accounting or corporate finance.
• Preliminary experience in transaction services, M&A, or auditing.
• Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, and the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
• Willingness to deliver high-quality work, take responsibility, and work collaboratively across disciplines.
• Motivated, reliable, diligent, resilient team player fluent in German and proficient in English.
• Good knowledge of MS Office.
• Exceptional achievements in academics, private endeavors, or business.
